It All Starts With A Visit
Nothing formal, no pressure! I'm just stopping in for a visit— I'd love to show you what my dog can do (her name is Ethel :D), and find out what you want to accomplish (or keep from happening) with your dog.
Let's Make A Plan
We'll get you on your schedule, and make sure that everybody knows what they are doing— training, practice, play.
Class Is In Session
We'll set aside a specific day throughout your program to learn a specific command. Then, you'll use the command throughout the week to help your dog remember and gain confidence in the command.
School Is More Fun With Friends
Your dog needs time around other people and other dogs. All Happy Dog pups are invited to group training with other Happy Dog alumni to work on polishing their skills and interacting with a complex environment.

Gold tier service
Gold
Gold is all about getting down the basics. Making sure that you and your dog are on the same team, and giving you a solid foundation to work from.
During Gold, your dog will learn:
Rapid Come
Perfect recall (that means coming to you, because next to you is your dog's new default), the moment you say it.
Steady Sit
This means when and where you said— not anywhere else, to keep your dog safe.
Steady Down
Again, when and where you said. No more tripping over the dog in the kitchen!
Easy Loose Leash Walk
Your arm can take a break! Exploring and sniffing is something you do as a team, rather than a one dog show.
Platinum tier service
Platinum
This is the next step. It includes a whole lot more of the complex tasks, and polishing your interactions with your dog. This is what makes you a true team.
During Platinum, your dog will learn:

Perfect Heel
Your dog follows perfectly on your leg. When you stop, your dog stops, when you turn, your dog turns. It's close to dancing.
Stationary Place
Give your dog an outpost, a specific location that you indicate where they can calmly observe, wait, or rest.
Community Access
Make sure that your dog is able to have a calm, respectful time in public— unbothered and in their element. This makes walking in public fun and relaxing for you, your dog, and everyone around you.
Service dog training
Service
A service dog is a personal K-9, specifically trained to do tasks to help you in your day to day life. This is not to be taken lightly. Your dog will be licensed to go where you go, do what you do.
Your furry friend is now an integral aspect of you living your best life. This is complex, and will require careful understanding of your unique needs.
